Codford Bellringers Christmas outing: Anthony Bainbridge

What an evening that was. Sixteen revellers, bellringers and their hangers-on (should we call them bellhangers?) assembled at the Prince Leopold on 17th December for a convivial evening. If there was ever any doubt that ringers know how to enjoy themselves noisily such doubts were soon dispelled. There were, I'm afraid, some complaints by other quieter diners about the noise level - they were ignored.  Thanks to Stella's careful financial management the Flowery Purse bought the drinks, with some small change left to cover our next bash. Our thanks to the willing and hardworking staff at The Leo. And if any readers would like to join in our next party you have first to learn to handle a bell. Call 850724 (Nick) or 851079 (Anthony) for more details.
