Codford Fete Committee: John Wyeth

We are a small group of volunteers that have taken on the role or organising a Village Fete each year and have done so since 2019.

We also put on the Winter Warmer events with some of the costs covered by proceeds from the Fete and by the committee members and a couple of others with donations of the food. Winter Warmers are a midday event on a Saturday once a month during the winter. Soup, cakes and biscuits on are the menu and there is no charge. A charity is selected each month for any anonymous donations received.

Since 2019 to date we have given a total of £8105.54 to those charities and other causes chosen by the committee. In 2024 we supported the following:

We are short of people who would take on a specific role on Fete Day. There are some that do this but others would be welcome. This could include running a stall or sharing such with a friend of yours. Do let us know if you can help.
